The kits are designed to retrofit any RV hatch opening. The hatch lifts assist in opening and closing the hatch door with minimal effort. Once in the open position the hydraulic lifts protect you and members of your family from injury from hatch doors slamming shut.
Our family has been around RV's for 25 years. Like most of us that own trailers and 5th wheels, our rigs have storage areas with hatch doors held open by tiny clips mounted above the hatch door. Typically, its hard to trust these hatch doors to stay open, or they blow shut the minute the wind blows.

Installation Type - Small
SMALL Hatchlift Kits are designed to fit light weight RV doors that measure from 14" tall to 20" tall (approximate). One kit will operate doors up to 26" wide. Doors over 26" in width should have a kit installed on both sides. The second kit helps provide for smoother operation on a wider door and also prevents the door from sagging on an unsupported side. NOTE: The mounting plate location can be adjusted to fit your door’s application.
