Our family has been around RV's for 25 years. Like most of us that own trailers and 5th wheels, our rigs have 

storage areas with hatch doors held open by tiny clips mounted above the hatch door. Typically, its hard to

trust these hatch doors to stay open, or they blow shut the minute the wind blows. 

This past winter while working on our camper, I was literally knocked to the ground by a hatch 

door that blew shut from a wind gust. From visiting RV trade shows every year, we noticed the 

expensive rigs all had hatch supports that were factory installed.

To solve this problem, we've spent the last year researching and putting together Hatchlift kits to retrofit 

virtually any hatch door. They are affordable, easy to install and truly make for a better camping experience.
